One of the tokens included in a group of 14 tokens that were wrapped in tissue paper that Timothy Millet acquired from the Boulton estate. There were 8 Warwickshire Wilkinson D&H 389 tokens in this group, of which this is one.
This token is part of a larger group of tokens that I recently acquired from Mr. Cory Collins, a collector of mostly Matthew Boulton/Soho Mint tokens and medals. He had bought 36 tokens from both Bill McKivor and Allan Davisson, who had bought them from Timothy Millett in England. Mr. Millett had himself acquired them directly from the estate of Matthew Boulton. This token comes with letters from Bill McKivor, Timothy Millett, and Cory Collins that show the provenance history from the Boulton estate to myself. Bill stated in his letter that Cory was the first collector to own these tokens after being released from the Boulton Family holdings. Great piece of history!
