One of the first trade tokens struck by Matthew Boulton at Soho Mint in 1789. Struck on pre-cut and edged flans before Boulton had the stream press with collar fully up and running. Issued to the Associated Irish Mine Co. and Abraham Mills, one of the nine founders of the mine. The D&H 18 are bronzed proofs.
