Good Extremely Fine. Dark obverse streak and some tiny marks, otherwise Choice. Penny. Scarce.

Built in the center of Gloucester during the reign of Richard III. It was taken down in the middle of the 18th century. From the reign of Richard II to the reign of Henry IV, Gloucester was the seat of Parliament. Market crosses were common features in cities and towns, serving as community gathering spots and merchant stables for local commerce.
