Struck by Kempson and probably commemorating Princess Caroline and her marriage to the Prince of Wales, later George IV. At the time, having never seen the Princess, the hairstyle and jewelry would have inspired many women in the upper echelons of society to imitate this fashion. Struck in the same year as their marriage.
