Issued by Kempson to John Ferrier, a hosier in Perth. The latin on the obverse translates to, “Success to the net fishing”. Wright Junr. Des refers to James Wright, Jr., the designer of the token. Tay Bridge still survives to this day, although it was widened in 1869.
