A trade token struck by Lutwyche for Moggeridge & Joyce, yarn manufacturers in Dunkirk. Note this mispelled version on the reverse of this token, ’Dunkikre’. The factory building still stands today as an apartment building. The hanging fleece (golden fleece) is symbolic of the wool trade, which brought great wealth to the country in previous centuries.
